Foreclosure filings plunge in Lower Hudson Valley
Initial foreclosure filings dropped nearly 17 percent while foreclosure judgments fell 22 percent last year in the Lower Hudson Valley. Westchester reported 2,485 filings for 2010, a 20 percent drop while Rockland reported 1,709, a 12 percent drop.
