  1. They find you and repossess the car anyway.

Trust me on this one. They’re really good at tracking you down.

Even if they’re not, the bank will eventually report the car stolen and the police will be the ones to track you down. Remember, as long as they hold the title, it’s their car, not yours.

  2. They will eventually find the car, don’t worry. They get paid to find it.

  3. This is already on your credit report.

They may get legal action against you for auto theft as that is what you have done.

I think I would contact the lien holder and talk to them ASAP.

If action is taken like this you can face jail time, and as of now, even though you may not think legally you are driving a stolen vehicle.

  4. THERE IS NO AVOIDING IT. They ask for references ( i.e. work, friends, family) when you buy a car!!! They will call everyone – everyday and hunt you down eventually. Don’t forget you need the title to the car if you ever decided to sell it!!!

If you choose this path be prepared for it to haunt your credit for the rest of your life – it doesn’t go away!! It will affect you when you get ANY bills in your name – if one day you want to buy a house or another car and in some cases even employment because it shows irresponsibility. DON’T DO IT.

Trust me I learned the hard way.

  5. The bank will find you and they might just report the car stolen which they can do if your not making payments its their car.
